We first met Agatha Mba in 2010, when she came to us for help with her application for Indefinite Leave to Remain in the UK in rather difficult circumstances. That application was successful, and Agatha was able to put an abusive marriage behind her, and get on with her life, but she could never forget the children she had left behind in Nigeria, with her first husband.
Agatha had been denied access to her children for many years, but then, in a change of mood as unexpected as it was welcome, Stephanie’s father allowed her to come on a visit to the UK. We were almost as delighted as Agatha and Stephanie when Stephanie’s application was successful! She now has Indefinite Leave to Remain in the UK, and is studying at university.
