Charlie Gilkeson is a teacher in Wakefield who first contacted for help with a fiancée visa so that his partner, Iryna Fetisova, who is Ukrainian, could join him in the UK. When talking to Charlie we were surprised at how well he seemed to know the Immigration Rules, but in conversation Charlie said that though he knew what was needed, this was too important to take a chance with, and so he wanted a professional to handle their case.
We worked with Charlie to get all his documents ready, and then Iryna applied for entry clearance so that she could come to the UK to marry Charlie. We have since acted for Iryna and Charlie in Iryna’s subsequent applications to the Home Office, but we have never met either of them, as they live in Wakefield and we are based in London!
